Gastronomy offer Korcula Prizba |
 While
you are in Prizba you have an opportunity to
try domestic gastronomic specialties. You can taste an original
Dalmatian and local food. There is a several restaurants in
Prizba with a great offer of specialties made of a meat or a
fish. You can also try local vines. On this part of the island
Korcula you can find some agrotourism restaurants where you
can try the original domestic specialties, fishes, meet, shells
all with several kinds of wine. Those restaurants are situated
in the original Dalmatian landscape, among the stone terraces,
olives trees and a vine yards. |
A few shops in Prizba are well equipped with a basic things
and a fresh groceries. Better equipped shops are in Blato
and Vela Luka. If you want to by a fresh fish you can visit
fish markets in Blato and Vela Luka where you can find a several
kinds of fish an shells. If you have a fishing equipment you
can take it with you. Fishing is possible from the coast,
from the boat, or the coast of the islets which are nearby.

unique and rarely specialty which can be tasted here is a
sea urchin. It can be found only in extremely clean sea. In
this area, specially around a small islets, it is easy to
find fine pieces. A yellow or brown roe which is inside is

 An islets just a few hundred meters from the coast is ideal for enjoying in the untouched nature. You will find there interesting stone coast drawn by the waves abrasion, nice places to swim in the green and blue colored bright sea. This diamond green color, sea gets from the pine trees which surround an islets coast.
